We made the Three Little Pigs houses out of recycled materials. Children enjoyed making puppets and using them to retell the story.
The children were interested in learning about growing seeds, they had the idea to plant the apple seeds from our snack. We watched a few videos about how to plant and take of apple trees. We are going to take very good care of our plants with lots of sun, and water.
Many children have been interested in learning about how airplanes fly. We have many non-fiction books in our room and have been busy making planes out of various materials such as Lego, and paper.
This is our space centre. We converted the dramatic play area into it. We made many beautiful galaxies which you can see hung on the wall on black paper. We spent today visiting the moon and the planet of fish. The children had a lot of fun pretending to be astronauts discovering new planets.
